Major Md Farid Ahmed (Retd) joined as Adjutant this academy on 02 May 2024, Served Bangladesh Army as an Army officer from 1994 to 2022.He possesses a powerful combination of proven ability, expertise, solid communication skills and extensive hands on experience.

After completing higher secondary education, he completed Bachelor of Science degree from National University ,Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering degree from University of Dhaka. Besides basic military training,he is trained on security,weapon handling, search & rescue techniques,bomb threat responses, first aid, fire fighting, command & leadership,computer networking, signal communication technology, cryptography etc.He have had a wide experience of working as commander at various level, staff officer and instructor including the experience of United Nations Peace Keeping missions for more than three years in African countries.

He has got scholarly mastery on training activities. Served as instructor in Bangladesh Military Academy for three years, grade-2 staff officer in Army Training & Doctrine Command for three years and also looked after two and half years on training matters in Army medical Corp Center & School while in Army. He has got experience of serving in Border Guard Bangladesh also.

He can speak English(fluent), Bengali(native), Hindi(basic).He is a widely travelled person,happiIly married and blessed with two daughters.He presently lives at Mirpur DOHS,Dhaka.
