CPO Azad joined the International Maritime Academy as a Signaling Instructor in February 2025, bringing an impressive 36-year career with the Bangladesh Navy.
A true expert in signal and communications, CPO Azad distinguished himself as a highly effective trainer at various Bangladesh Navy schools throughout his extensive service. His impeccable track record in both performance and discipline earned him a promotion to the rank of Honorary Sub Lieutenant.
His dedication extended beyond national borders, as he also contributed to a UN mission in Liberia. Having retired from the Bangladesh Navy in 2024, CPO Azad now dedicates his profound knowledge and experience to shaping the future marine cadets at IMA.
